Kubota will feature the V3307 Micro-Hybrid Engine at booth #S84415 during CONEXPO 2023. The V3307 is the perfect solution for short, high-demand applications. It features a simple and easy-to-install system with three main components, a DC converter, a lithium-ion battery, and a motor generator attached to the existing engine model.
The Hybrid system is controlled by the engine ECU and not by signals from the vehicle. The system provides power assistance instantaneously during peak overloads to the engine, offering an additional electrical power boost of up to 10 kW. The immediate torque boost efficiency at the most crucial time while recuperating and recharging its battery pack when not initiated.
“Kubota’s Micro-Hybrid System allows for engine downsizing while maintaining performance, productivity and efficiency,” Tomokazu Matsushita, president of Kubota Engine America, says. “The addition of the Micro-Hybrid system will provide added benefits to more OEM customers and equipment users.”
The system offers an opportunity for quicker motor response and stronger work efficiency, with minimal effort to install. It fits in existing mounting space with no selective catalytic reduction (SCR) required for engines with outputs of 56kW or more. It saves maintenance work and eliminates the running cost of DEF. This engine complies with EPA/CARB Tier 4 and State V emission regulations.
Kubota’s lineup for CONEXPO 2023 will showcase its carbon neutral solutions, new engine technology and aftermarket support. Get an exclusive look at the V3307 engine in the South Hall at booth #S84415, starting March 14!
